If your problem was due to a broken belt be sure the check that the pulley hasn t seized.

Refit the pump cover and screw back firmly.
Then use your screwdriver to insert 3 screws to hold the new pump in place.
If you replace the belt but not fix the pulley you ll have the same problem in the very near future.
A kink or bend in the hose slows the drain down.
Tighten the screws until the pump feels securely attached.
Use screws to attach the pump inside your washing machine.
Use caution as some debris may be sharp.
Items like these and other similar obstructions could all cause the impeller to slow down and not be capable of creating the vortex required to force out the water.
